  1. Add multiple choice [tokens]

    The newly introduced custom token functionality could be enhanced greatly by introducing multiple choice options in stead of the single text boxes.

    For example, when you could have a [version] token with the options "standard", "professional" and "enterprise".

    Also for longer text blocks this would be usable, because you can quickly setup a proposal by selecting the right content, without the need to rewrite the same text over and over.

  4. Proposal expiration date

    Dear Nifty Quoter,
    Your product looks great and definitely on par and better in many ways than Quote Roller (my current provider). The one challenge I have is that with QR, when I finish creating a quote it asks for an expiration date and that date shows up on my proposals. By doing this, I don't have to worry about client's sending me invalid contracts. With your solution it's suggested I use the proposal date token and put language in referencing an expiration date. It's a manual process I don't need to do with Quote Roller. I would love to…

  5. hourly pricing

    We have certain services which are billed at an hourly rate as they are utilized. It would be nice to have an hourly option in the quote builder.

  10. Record PDF downloads as well as proposal views

    One of the most valuable metrics is the number of views a proposal has and the amount of time it was looked at. However we are finding that clients are going to the proposal page and immediately downloading the PDF, so we just get a "viewed for 1 minute" indicator in the stats. Would be very valuable to know if the PDF was downloaded or whether the "viewed for 1 minute" meant that the client hasn't actually looked at it yet.

  11. make it possible to add page-breaks

    Sometimes page endings are placed on illogical places (in PDF output).

    For example if there is only one word or phrase on a new page, it is often better to place an entire paragraph on the next page.

    One possible (and flexible solution) would be: the ability to add page-breaks via the text editor.

  12. introduce custom tokens

    It would be great to use custom tokens like:

    [product_version]
    [currentsituation]
    [ERP
    system_used]

    In the old way I would search & replace my Word document or use smart objects. In NiftyQuoter currently is see no way to use such "smart" variables
