  1. Implement SSL via letsencrypt or allow upload of own certificates

    Due to Chrome marking anything not SSL encrypted as unsafe from July onwards I would recommend implementing letsencrypt or give us the ability to use our wildcard certificate with you service.

  2. Ask for saving before closing the in-site pop-ups.

    When adding a new client a in-site pop-up is used. If you accidently click outside the box all the info you entered is lost. This happens easily since you may want to look up all the info in your mail or contact application. When going back to the browser you have to be very careful, if you just click somewhere in the browser window you can start all over again.

  5. Please make proposal tags multi select in auto actions

    When setting up auto actions I would like to apply that action to multiple proposal tags. Currently it's a single select dropdown.

  6. Auto action exclusion

    It would be great if using a custom proposal tag you could exclude proposals from an auto action. Now you can select a tag to execute proposals on, but that means in the future you should select this tag with every proposal. I our situation a default reminder is OK, but for some we would like to make an exception.

  7. Subtotals using group header line

    I really like the idea of subtotals. It would provide my clients dynamic pricing information without having to grab the calculator out to add each group up.

    IE.

    KITCHEN (Group Header)
    To make and install kitchen ...... $1000.00
    Upgrade 20mm benchtops ......$500.00 (Optional ticked)
    Upgrade to 40mm benchtops....$1200.00 (Optional not ticked)
    Sub total ...................................$1500.00

    VANITY (Group Header)
    To make and install vanity ...... $800.00
    Upgrade 20mm benchtops ......$100.00 (Optional ticked)
    Upgrade to 40mm benchtops....$1600.00 (Optional not ticked)
    Sub total ...................................$900.00

    Total Ex Tax ..............................$2400.00

  8. Add proposal ID token

    We want to allow customers to pay for a proposal using our own payment gateway. To do this, I was thinking we'd have a "Pay Now" button that would link to our gateway and pre-fill fields there. E.g. ourgateway.com/paynow?proposalID=21412421

    To do that, I'll need a proposal ID token. It doesn't seem like there's one available at present. There's a [Proposal Code] token but this doesn't seem to have any content

  9. Prospect can change quantities

    There doesn't seem to be a way to allow the prospect to change quantities on certain items. I think it would be nice to allow quantity changes on some line items and be able to lock the quantity so it can not change on others.

  10. Add cost prices to quotes

    It would be reaaally great i I could store the cost price of each item in each quote and even better if this will import across and update the purchases inventory item figure automatically so that we get an accurate and automated profit and loss for each deal won.

  11. Ability for client to be able to login and see all proposals that have been sent to them

    I would love to be able to login to my contractor's accounts that use NiftyQuoter and see all the proposals they have sent to me. Which ones are awaiting review / approval, which ones have been declined, etc. its a pain to try to hunt down the link for each proposal separately.

    I would also like my clients to be able to do the same - login and see all the proposals i have sent them and what their status is.

  16. New permission setting for allowing proposal viewing but not editing

    We would like to allow all of our internal team members to view all proposals, but they should only be able to edit/change their own proposals.

    We have certain services which are billed at an hourly rate as they are utilized. It would be nice to have an hourly option in the quote builder.

  20. Proposal expiration date

    Dear Nifty Quoter,
    Your product looks great and definitely on par and better in many ways than Quote Roller (my current provider). The one challenge I have is that with QR, when I finish creating a quote it asks for an expiration date and that date shows up on my proposals. By doing this, I don't have to worry about client's sending me invalid contracts. With your solution it's suggested I use the proposal date token and put language in referencing an expiration date. It's a manual process I don't need to do with Quote Roller. I would love to…
