  2. sales tax

    Sales tax calculation using Avalara AvaTax
    https://www.avalara.com/products/sales-and-use-tax/avatax-2/

    This would be helpful for occasional proposals where we do not know the sales tax rate. It should be fairly simple and it would require a customer address to validate.

    The API is free and the most accurate tax calculation is available using the full street address. I would just want to make sure that we could apply a tax rate of 0% for non-taxable lines and maybe set my default tax rate to "Lookup" similar to how Xero does their Avalara integration.

  5. Connect with Google Spreadsheets

    It would be great to have price templates fed directly from google spreadsheets. I currently have to export each one to csv, then import them on Niftyquoter every time I change prices.

  6. Link quantities fields

    Automatically adjust quantities filed based on another quantity. If 2 x PC's are selects then automatically adjust the labor to 2.

  8. Allow customization of favicon

    We can brand everything except for the favicon seen in the browser window and favorites section - that is a default "Q"

    In order to preserve customization/branding and not to confuse our customers we would like the option to upload our own favicon when in the branding process.

  9. Automatic proposal status change on full payment to approved

    Hi Nifty,

    Can we please put in code to automatically change proposal statuses to approved when payments have been processed, tallying to the total proposal amount, via Stripe or PayPal buttons?

    Hello ... we just started using your service, and so far it's a pretty cool tool. We're an advertising agency and our proposals often require we submit creative samples. We'd love to see you guys add some functionality that would allow us to build a gallery/portfolio of work

  11. Ability to edit dates for approval or rejection

    Sometimes we get a verbal approval or rejection and won't remember to go back and change the status until a month later when we're reviewing outstanding items in NQ. This messes up our stats. Also we just started using the rejection reasons feature and wanted to go back and add a reason to all our old rejected quotes but if we did that it would mark the quote as rejected as the current date.

  12. Team Collaboration

    It would be nice for the team to be able to make suggestions at the section and/or content block level from the editing screen which could then be marked for progress (maybe stages like: new comment, under review, in progress, complete, rejected).

  13. Exporting as Word for review/edits... or expand "Discuss" for redlining and add citations.

    Assuming your discuss feature allows the note to be attached to a section of text, it would enable an approval with edits. This would avoid the need to export a doc as an editable / redlined Word doc. Could enable versioning this way as well.

  14. Add an independent tab / area to organize and edit the content library.

    In addition to the extremely long list of content items running down the LH side of a proposal in editing mode, it would be good to have a tab for keeping this library of content organized. Ideally, having tags or folders for sections or types of content would also help to have the accordion of content that you need to drag into the proposal expand and contract without scrolling forever to get to the snippet of content you need to use.

  15. Disable Auto Actions on individual proposals.

    If a client will not make a decision for x amount of days, you should be able to disable the auto action (follow up emails) for that particular proposal.

  16. Supplier Info

    Hi,

    In the proposal tab a supplier field would be great to add the supplier costs and who is the supplier, but these info shows just to the user to make easier to track supplier/costs used in the proposal.

  17. Ability to mark client as tax exempt

    We have quite a few customers that are tax exempt organizations. It would be nice to be able to mark the client as tax exempt (or even to set a tax rate) and not have to remember to go through each line item on a quote to set tax to 0%. It looks very unprofessional if we miss something and they think we do not care enough to make their quotes accurate.

  18. Boxed / Grid display style for proposals list

    Would be great to have some different display styles for the proposals list. i.e. i personally would really like to see a boxed/grid type display:

    Tile / card / boxed / grid view: each proposal as a box showing:
    - company / proposal name
    - created date
    - [state] date (i.e.: approved date, etc)
    - tag/s
    - totals: proposal total, expenses total, profit total

    With the ability to group by company, sort by date, and other grouping and ordering options.

    Hover over the boxes and get the button/links (overview, quote, content, preview, clone, archive, delete) - or have these buttons…

  20. Possibility to select gender as a token

    This would give the possibility to personalize much more the proposal an also the mail-contact to the client.
